Ever since the Corona pandemic has occurred there have been so many things we couldn’t do. We couldn’t fly abroad as easily as before, we couldn’t go to any social gatherings and now we can’t even celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December?
The Corona virus has spread all over the world and has already reached a number of 68’387’002 infected patients. The government has already thought about doing things to prevent the virus from spreading. The government has already done multiple things such as putting schools and offices in home-office and restricting the numbers of countries you can visit. But it’s still not enough and Christmas one of the biggest celebrations is coming! But what else can we do? The government has since then decided to postpone Christmas to June! It’s the only safe way to celebrate Christmas. They have now restricted all the shopping malls and forbidden them from selling Christmas things such as wrappers, Christmas trees and ornaments. Everyone is really mad about it! “What the hell is this?” “This can’t be true! I won’t have my kids in June!” “Great the one time a year I get to spend time with my family and now I won’t be able to! Thank you so much.” Some people think that it’s actually a good idea. “I think this is great I mean imagine you get to celebrate Christmas at a place with a warm weather!” “This is awesome! I won’t freeze to death!” “omg this is amazing, I have enough time to buy some presents and I might even find the right gifts with a perfect prize!”
Even if some of the people are mad about this decision it might be for the best. We can’t risk losing more people to this virus. But will it help? Is it really going to slow down the virus from spreading all over the world? Or is it going to be even worse because people might demonstrate because of this decision? Some might still celebrate Christmas! But we will only know in a few weeks I mean after all, we can’t predict the future. Or can we?
